Since 2004.

When we came to Sri Lanka in 2002, we brought with us many years of experience in bodywork, our deep connection to Tai Chi and meditation, our passion for conscious nutrition, and a shared creative vision.

From this, the idea emerged to create a luminous place, infused with a special energy, that touches people in their wholeness. Two years later, we opened the Ayurveda Shunyata Villa.

Ever since, our philosophy has been reflected in our commitment to authentic Ayurveda and the depth of our treatments, in our mindful cuisine, and in our individually designed spaces, created with great care and attention to detail.

Shunyata means emptiness and openness: a space to let go of what weighs us down, to feel renewed strength, and to move forward with confidence and inspiration.

Together with our knowledgeable and warm-hearted team, we continue to accompany and shape Shunyata to this day.
