What´s so special about the
Yoga experience with us?

Maybe something like “Back to basics.” In other words: “back to the source,” “to the essence.” Simple, clear, pure, without any “decoration”. The motto is: “Less is more.”

We omit what distracts (sometimes even the “nice” distractions), so you can concentrate fully on the essentials in this quiet simplicity:

Yourself! In your full presence!

The way you are, and maybe even as you don't even know yourself yet.

Die tranquillity, the Love — for yourself, and art Listening to you again — that is our daily focus during the retreat.

Find and strengthen the balance & connection of body, mind & soul here at Shunyata Villa.

How is our approach?

CONNECTING: Look forward to the wonderful and healing combination of yoga & Ayurveda. Daily body and energy work, rounded off by Ayurveda massages and treatments. A holistic approach that allows you to get back in touch with your self-healing powers with simple means and learn how to activate them independently. The transfer of experience into your life is our focus!

EMPATHETIC: Empathy means something like “empathize without suffering.” Yoga is great for experiencing our — often self-imposed — limits. When we get into a position, we are immediately confronted with our physical and mental limits. How we face this limit is our free choice. We learn together how to approach our limits compassionately, attentively, and mindfully. We learn to look at and let go of struggle, pain, and resistance. Every day anew. A very liberating experience.

INDIVIDUAL & INTENSIVE: No matter what your constitution looks like right now, whether you're an absolute yoga beginner, returner or experienced practitioner, everyone is in the right place with what they have right now! The only requirement is that you want to actively do something for yourself!

individual means that we work in small groups and therefore focus on your personal development.

Intensive means that we take enough time for you. The conscious development and adoption of the postures is corrected in joint interaction with you and refined step by step. Your breath is your most loyal assistant and guide. Body and mind receive new impulses — are “confronted” with a completely new idea — and you discover the untapped potential in yourself in a spontaneous and often very touching way. The aha effect is usually already there after Sanjeewa's first correction. Beginners may be experiencing their bodies in full alignment and alignment for the first time. With the help of intensive fine correction and breathing practice, experienced practitioners experience a whole new level of awareness when performing the asanas.

In their joint work, Sanjeewa and Anja represent unity and a spiritual gift for every practitioner. Or as one participant put it in their own words:

“Sanjeewa and Anja are balm for the soul.
In our everyday lives, we often forget the essentials, and with both of them, you simply find it again...”.
