Let's talk about Ayurveda and AI
For a few weeks now, the topic of AI has been on our minds more and more — everyone is talking about it. Podcasts, social media, and other channels are filled with content and conversations around this topic. Some of them go very deep, are downright philosophical and raise ethical questions. Critical discussions and exciting findings accompany us — and repeatedly lead to a central question...

How can we — following the Ayurvedic sense of life — find a healthy approach to AI?
Those of you who already know us know:
In our work in Place to Be — the Shunyata Villa — we keep a fine, protective space for our spa guests. A room in which the Being human, the personal relationship with ourselves and with each other, the meaningful and the sensual in the beauty of nature have absolute priority.
This doesn't require technology, but awareness and the honest desire to “switch off” 😊 to get back in on a deeper level.
We leave retreat spaces like an Ayurveda break powerfully, clearly and centered within ourselves. The great art is then to maintain this inner connection in the eagerness of fast-paced everyday life.
Our conclusion:
Every genuine connection with the outside world starts with an honest encounter within.
We believe that when people are self-centered and know and live their values, then it is possible to use AI consciously, ethically and meaningfully — proactively, alert and visionary.
Even if you never want to use AI yourself, many people around you are already doing it. Whether you like it or not, it will change relationships in all possible areas of life.
So why not play an active and alert role instead of waiting and devaluing?
What is needed now is conscious, mindful people, not simply “AI competence,” but Human competence. To find this mindfulness, we need silence. Every day. Very disciplined.
spacing. WEANING.
Honest internal encounter.
Get out into nature.
And:
What if the conscious use of AI, which can relieve the burden in many areas, meant that we would once again have more real time from person to person?
What do you mean? We're curious. If you have the time and desire, feel free to write us a email. 💌
